Certificate books for electrical installations launched

Ethos now offers a full range of certificate books for electrical installations, providing evidence that procedures have been carried out to a high standard of safety and expertise.

The certificate books are a comprehensive collection providing verification of procedures from fitting new installations to testing and making modifications to existing installations. The range covers both domestic and commercial use.

Only those contractors who are specifically trained and who have knowledge and experience of the electrical work being carried out will be able to sign these certificates. The range of certificates provides peace of mind, as they will only be awarded when all safety requirements have been adhered to.

The Ethos 7904, 7905 and 7907 Electrical Installation Certificates verify the safety of newly fitted electrical installations and any modifications to existing installations where one or more circuits have been introduced. For smaller additions or alterations to systems where no further circuits have been added, the Ethos 7901 Domestic Minor works can be used. When carrying out periodic inspections, the contractor can choose to certify this with the Ethos 7903 Periodic Inspection Report. All of these certificates should be accompanied by the Schedule of Inspection and Test Results.
